Travels in 2007
Hey world, it is I again. I have not updated in this thing in forever. There really hasn't been much to say I guess, or if I do say it it's just repetitive stuff. Anyways, life is good, with the exceptions of it's ups and downs and this way's and that. I am just so thankful for God's son Jesus Christ, His mercy, and grace and forgiveness. With out Him I am nothing.

The big thing recently is I have laid down a budget and plans for my 2007 vacation and road trip. The trip will consist of visiting several areas including the northern united states. I will start out on a Thirsday and head to Dallas Texas where I will see in concert on Fri and Sat, the Von Trapp Children. They are the great grandchildren of Captain Georg Ritter Von Trapp. Sound of Music ring a bell? From Dallas I will make 5 day trek northward to visit three key cities that the Ingalls family lived. Mansfield, Missouri where Laura Ingalls Wilder spent the last days of her life with her husband. From there I will head up to Walnut Grove, Minnesota. They lived there for a few years and if you ever watched the NBC series this is where the show was based in. From there I will visit De Smet, South Dakota. Another key city where their family lived and many which rest there. From there I shall do the 1000+ journey back to Texas to see the Civil War Re-enactment and pilgrimage in Jefferson Texas. Spend 5 days there and then return on a Wed back home. It should be a fun trip if all goes as plan and nothing screws up between now and then.

So yeah, what else has been going on? Chris and Sonia are doing really well and I think they make such a good couple. What a blessing from God when He sends people into your life. Same ole stuff but good stuff with me, staying active at Church, at home and with God.
